DANTE (A)LIVE – Journey to Reason

MUSIC + VERSES FROM THE DIVINE COMEDY – A live play with music and verses to mark the seventh centenary of his death. A multidisciplinary project based on the integration of music and literature, and involves the recitation of three extracts from Dante’s Divine Comedy. The choice of songs highlights concepts such as distance from one’s roots, the importance of one’s beliefs, and reuniting with loved ones. Featuring performances of the text in English and original music in support. Duration: ~40 minutes
